Support a one month Health Awareness Camp for 500 men and women to help them take preventive measures from life threatening diseases like Tuberculosis, Malaria etc. In some villages of Karmala Block of Solapur district in Maharashtra, cases of Tuberculosis, Malaria are found in good numbers which cause deaths at regular intervals to poor people. More number of people of these villages are suffering from these diseases because of lack of awareness amongst them about these diseases and the prevention measures. Thus, there is an urgent need to work on this crucial issue of importance. Abhinav Bharat Samaj Seva Mandal (ABSSM) will organize a 1 month non-residential health awareness camp covering all the above mentioned villages that will help in reaching 500 men and women making them aware of these diseases and reducing the effects of the diseases in the area. IEC materials (books, charts, posters etc.) - Rs. 10,000 Pen & writing pad for participants – Rs. 10,000 Honorarium and travel to resource persons (3) @ Rs. 4,000 x 3 persons – Rs. 12,000 Tables, chairs, mats during camps – Rs. 10,000 Refreshments – Rs. 18,000 Total Cost – Rs. 60,000 for one month for 500 beneficiaries Cost per person – Rs. 120 Cost for 10 people – Rs. 1,200 ABSSM and Local Community will contribute for the venue cost of the camps
